In order to make the best use of our DynDNS Service, we would like to answer your questions in detail and give you tips and advice.
What should I consider when registering with the DynDNS Service?
When you fill out the registration form, be sure to enter your correct, active email address. After successfully registering with our DynDNS Service, we will send you an email with an account Activation link. With one click on this link you activate your account. If your account has not been activated within 10 days, your registration will be deleted.
I have not received an email with the activation link and now?
If you have not received an email with the activation link, please check your spam folder first. It only takes a few seconds to send the email with the account activation link. If the email is not in your mailbox or spam folder and more than 30 minutes have passed, send us an email using our contact form. We will then activate your account manually at short notice.
Can I change my password or email address later?
If you are logged into your account, you will find the "Change Password" button in the top menu. We recommend change your password regularly for security reasons. If the new email address is not yet registered with us, send the email from the new email address so that we can change it as confirmed.
Do I have to log in again after a certain amount of time?
No, our DynDNS Service does not require you to log into your account every month. We do not want to put pressure on our users to log in and make regulations for you. However, you should make sure that your email address is active and accessible. You will receive an email every two years with news, tips and information about our DynDNS Service. If the registered email address is not active, the account will be deleted, including all sub domains (except Pro User, update tool or SMS credit top up).
I have forgotten my user name, what can I do?
If you have forgotten your access data to your account, this is not a problem. Use the form "Request Login Data" and we will send you the login password and the user name. Please note that you can only request a maximum of 3x access data per day for spam protection reasons.
How can I delete my account?
You have the option to have your account deleted at any time. Use our "Contact Form" and tell us that the account has been deleted. Please note that you send the email with the e-mail address with which you are registered. Your account will then be deleted within a maximum of 24 hours. Subsequent, later restoration is no longer possible.
Can I use my router for this DynDNS Service?
If your router under -> DynDNS provider the selection [custom] e.g. Fritzbox or [other provider] e.g. Speedport has, this router is suitable for an IP update with our DynDNS Service.
Can I do the IP update with your DynDNS Service also in another way?
There are several ways to update your IP address. If your router is not suitable, you can either buy another router or use the DynDNS update tool V3.0e. It works completely router-independent, only the required port in the router has to be enabled. If you run a Linux server, who can execute cron jobs, you can perform an IP update with lynx (Pro User).
How can I use optimally this DynDNS Service?
Our DynDNS portal is based on the web browsers "Mozilla Firefox", "Google Chrome" and "Google Android Chrome" (mobile phones, tablets) optimized. Other browsers are of course also possible, but the web pages may not be displayed correctly. JavaScript should be activated, which is a standard settings in the browser. If JavaScript is deactivated, not all functions are available.

If one of your questions is not answered, please read first in your account under "DynDNS Instructions" and "Questions & Answers". Remember that for free users and pro users, websites are completely different have been created, i.e. also have different content. If you still cannot find an answer, please use our support form, we will help you.
How long will it take to get an answer to my support request?
Our support team is available 24 hours around our DynDNS Service. Depending on the number of requests, all questions, hints and tips will be answered within a maximum of 24 hours. If you should not have received a response within that time, please send your request again. The paths of the internet are long and it has also happened that an email has not arrived or has disappeared.

Please use a polite manner for your inquiry, emails that do not correspond to a certain courtesy form, we cannot and do not want to answer.

Please understand that there will be no more telephone support because our capacities are not sufficient.
